This is the type of registering a Trademark in Pakistan in which the owner of the asset in-person applies for the registration. In the first step you can authenticate yourself by providing your nationally identity card number along with other information such as email or contact number.
In the second phase after authentication you’ll simply specify that you’re applying for self registration and that is about it.

Applicants come in two forms, either in person willing to apply for themselves or representatives registering on behalf of someone else.Either ways, trademarks in Pakistan can be registered either through an attorney of RTMA aka Registered Trademark Agents.
- Whether you’re registering in person or on the behalf of someone, the first process is the same as you have to authenticate by proving your CNIC along with mobile number and email verification.
- In the second phase however, you must tell your user type, in-person or representative and in case of being representative you are also obliged to provide the documented proof of you being an advocate.
In case of self registration, these two simple steps are about it but if you are a representative for someone in the capacity of being their advocate, your application will be reviewed by the IT Directorate and in case of any contradictions or discrepancies you’ll be asked to make the necessary corrections and your application is further proceeded.
